During renovation work, when adding an extra cable to an existing wall box with knock-outs in concealed sheetrock, there may be trouble removing the knock-out with out banging the box right its mounting. To remedy this, partially drill in a self-tapping screw. Using diagonal or side cutters just pull the knock-out in the direction it was meant to go!
