I was searching through your site in preparation for taking,an electrical helpers test. I did not find the information I wanted,an expanded list of electrical symbols. I have taken the test before and failed. In the test there were symbols to be identified, one that I recognized was an underground transformer bank. Yes! I'm very under paid. Be working in Wilmington, NC all my life and still can't a good living. I make 13.75 hr and that's about it around here, most make 8 to 11 bucks a hour. Try and pay your rent on that or buy a house...hahahaha

My wife makes more than me and most woman in this town makes more than electricians.

And do the companys give you anything, NO! Once again, I depend on my wife that. A job is all I get!

So..if your a young man looking for a trade, please look else where! Go to school...not trade school!

There is no money doing electrical work!

Great questions , They make the installer think twice before assuming that " Thats how we always did it " As an inspector and owner of an inspection bureua in North East Penna , I can tell you it is so frustrating to go to an inspection and have to fail it because the contractor did not read the codebook right.
