You can e-mail me at:tbird@accesscomm.ca THank You

Was looking for parts for chicago bender; (springs)
I was searching through your site in preparation for taking,an electrical helpers test. I did not find the information I wanted,an expanded list of electrical symbols. I have taken the test before and failed. In the test there were symbols to be identified, one that I recognized was an underground transformer bank. Many of the symbols and materials I had never seen. I am bookmarking this site, and expect to return many, many times. I read your three pages of symbols, but they are the ones I already had in my books.
I am a Safety and Training Representative at Performanc Pipe in Fairfield, IA. Great Site. I use these for our hourly employees' Safety Tailgate Topics and some training. Thanks!
Very nice site, some good info. here.
EXCELLENT SITE! I WILL VISIT MORE OFTEN.
I THINK THIS IS A GREAT SITE. THE VIOLATION PICS ARE BETTER THAN THE SUNDAY FUNNIES. HOWEVER, THEY NEED TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY, AS THERE ARE ALOT OF PEOPLE OUT THAT ARE EITHER APATHETIC AND/OR IGNORANT IN WHAT THEY DO. THESE PICS NEED AN ALBUM OF THEIR OWN TITLED "DON'T DO THIS" OR "STRANGE BUT TRUE". IS THAT A "JOY" SOAP BOTTLE FOR THE RECEPTICLE? SERIOUSLY THOUGH,I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD FIND SO MUCH USEFUL INFORMATION IN ONE WEB SITE. GREAT JOB!

Yes! I'm very under paid. Be working in Wilmington, NC all my life and still can't a good living. I make 13.75 hr and that's about it around here, most make 8 to 11 bucks a hour. Try and pay your rent on that or buy a house...hahahaha
My wife makes more than me and most woman in this town makes more than electricians.
And do the companys give you anything, NO! Once again, I depend on my wife that. A job is all I get!
So..if your a young man looking for a trade, please look else where! Go to school...not trade school!
There is no money doing electrical work!
What is the big deal about being a electrician? Very under pay. I would never tell a young man to go into this field.

great web page
Very Useful. Thank you.
formula's were very helpful... i had lost my little book of formulas... this was perfect.
This is a great help and the founders should be commended. I am looking for a photo that I saw in either Time or News Week a few years ago that showed a lineman that had been eletrocuted while on his hooks, and another lineman had climbed the pole and was giving the downed lineman CPR while he was hanging from his belt. If anyone can help, please E-mail me at shane.shepperd@kcinet.com
I will respond to anyone.

With regard to the section of USEFUL FORMULA, I would like to suggest that you should add more advance electrical formula into this section. e.g. I cannot find the formula regarding the line current, phase current, line voltage, phase voltage for 3 phase motor/circuit.

THIS IS NOT SO, SO I WILL CONTINUE TO SURF, AND FIND AS MANY WEBBASED RESOURCES THAT I CAN MUSTER IN ORDER TO AID IN MY QUEST TO MAKE ALL OF MY FELLOW AIRCRAFT ELECTRICIANS/INSTRUMENTMEN THE BEST EDUCATED IN THE WORLD. We also have apprentices that we share the questions with and it seems to inspire them to challenge one another and their journeymen. Some wiring diagrams would be helpful. Keep up the good work.

very well thought out site!! very informative! thanx:)
my first visit to the site.I look forward to more visits and quizes.
Midland, Texas I like your site and enjoyed taking some of the tests as I have been studying up up electrcal wiring. I am (?) buying a home, but first the PE inspector said the home was wired with Romex Aluminum. When I questioned him on it, as he said it should be monitored, he changed and said it was copper and the lead in wire is aluminum.I feel if a system has to be maintained(electrical) or monitored, there must be a good reason then just flickering lights.Loose connections, overheated could be a problem if it is aluminmum. My realtor said if I had a contractor come in I would have to rewire the whole house to code.Well, if it is copper, why? Obviously it is a mixture of aluminum in the major circuitry.I don't know, but I do not wish to fry. When I asked the realtor who installed the GFI's, he thought the owner did! I told him there are different sizes and kinds.Everything is being swept under the carpet. I missed my flight this morning (electrical co. had electricity off to install new transformers) and now the seller wants to keep the 3K I put down and pay his(undisclosed property and sewer taxes with it. Plus rent the house to someone and put it back on the market.I don't want to pay his taxes!
Any suggestions?Thankyou, Anne Michaud 915-684-4338 phone, fax and web tv.I am trying to avoid a lawsuit.
