Correct! (B) Section 250-106 and also NFPA 780 – Lightning Protection Code requires the lightning protection system to be bonded to the electrical grounding electrode system. This required bonding is to prevent side flashes from the lighting protection system to grounded equipment of the electrical system. These side flashed start fires. NEC Section 250-60 prohibits using the air terminal grounds for grounding of the electrical system but permits the required bonding together of the systems.
